History of Dubai

Earlier in 1830, a small fishing settlement led by Maktoum family give rise to the fishing village named Dubai. Then, later in 1901, Maktoum bin Hasher Al Maktoum established Dubai as a free city or better to be called as Emirate without any taxation system. Further, after many setbacks in terms of economy and trade, in the 1970s, this city began to grow in terms of infrastructure and facilities for the locals.
